Description

In this workshop every time we teach it we are faced with half a classroom being fully setup that have to wait for the other half of the classroom that still have to go through the full complicated setup.

I think with proper wording and framing we can nudge participants better into actually being prepared at the start of the workshop:

Instead of how we normally communicate we would like to communicate like this:

_This workshop consists of 2 parts: Part I: Preparatory self-study (you can do this in your own time) and Part II: The in-class workshop. At the start of the workshop you need to have finished the preparatory self-study._

We should rewrite the setup sessions to fit better in part I, or perhaps make a separate episode that refers to the setup instructions but also sets the stage for the in-class workshop.
