Description
I was at the CarpentryConnect conference in Heidelberg this week. One of the sessions was on advanced git lesson material. It has some overlap with things that we also want to have in our lesson (such as branches). So we should stay in touch, and possibly collaborate.
Here are notes: https://biont.biobyte.de/THQanRqBQXeThNW9wd6-GQ#, but TLDR:
- Very pre-alpha but good to keep in touch
- Material from Dominic Kempf (RSE @ Heidelberg Uni)
- [Intermediate Topics in Version Control with Git](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lUyXwlvU4NJLizreJc4LD6JISk8Ev9_L2LUmxBqaFys/edit?tab=t.0)
- [Expert topics in version control with Git](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vogIBg0U5kKXrTAHTSO3xeK33Oyq4VTAwDxwDr8VSSg/edit?tab=t.0)
Also I am proposing to move this also as a lesson in the incubator: https://github.com/carpentries-incubator/proposals/issues/199
