Stay in touch with other efforts in the community

I was at the CarpentryConnect conference in Heidelberg this week. One of the sessions was on advanced git lesson material. It has some overlap with things that we also want to have in our lesson (such as branches). So we should stay in touch, and possibly collaborate.
