Not readable sign for "success" and "error" in windows console

Using nodeunit in windows works fine. But the sign for "success" and "error" comes as a "?" in the windows console. Would be nice, if you could use a valid sign for each console (or maybe check the environment and puts a different sign).

Reproduce the issue by running nodeunit in a Windows console and inspect the output for the success and error indicators. Locate the code responsible for those console signs, then verify that both indicators render as readable characters on Windows without regressing the existing output.
