How to use Pager View combined with a Drawer?

I have a Drawer navigation setup with React Navigation (swipe edge width is set to the full width of the screen). In one of the routes I use Pager View. Let’s say I have 2 pages in the Pager View. Here is what I want to happen:

If I’m at the first page and I’m doing a swipe right gesture (to open the drawer), I want the drawer to open. If I’m doing a swipe left on the first page it should take me to the second page (like it normally does).

If I’m on the second page, swipe right should take me to the first page like usual but without opening the drawer.

I looked around but couldn’t find a way to get this done. Can you help? I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this but there it goes.
