pkg-config .pc files for boost?

Hey guys,

Not sure if this is the correct issue tracker but perhaps someone who has
some project-decision-making process may read this.

Would it be possible to provide a boost .pc file, to query the
current boost version? In particular the game wesnoth needs
a specific boost version and I tend to compile the latest boost
and then I have to compile an older one for wesnoth. I can
determine the version of boost installed in other ways, sure
(read the .h file for instance or whether it was .hccp I forgot)
but a .pc file would be so much cleaner.
