Description
Setting up an amplify account for local dev is a labyrinth. It is so complicated that it blocks the adoption of new users to the platform. https://docs.amplify.aws/react/start/account-setup/
There should be a turn key, single button press way to set up local dev.
It should
1. create a non-root iam user
2. assign correct permissions to it.
3. do everything else required so that setup does not require 17 steps.
I spend days setting this up. I go away from amplify, come back 6 months later, forget how to do all this, then spend another day setting this up instead of coding.
This is a HUGE deal.

Research direction
Start by reading the linked account-setup documentation at docs.amplify.aws/react/start/account-setup/ and map its current 17-step process to the requested local-development flow. The issue is complete only when a defined turnkey path creates a non-root IAM user, assigns the correct permissions, and handles the remaining setup requirements.
