Wont connect to pyls using anaconda

I''m seeing an issue where ide-python is stuck tring to connect to pyls. I'm pretty sure the problem is atom is using either `/usr/bin/python` or `/usr/bin/python3` when my actual python executable is managed by anaconda (so under the anaconda install directory). Is there a way override the path used by ide-python?
