Depending on the X11 version moving the mouse with the robot fails

When running tests that perform button or Table cell clicks, this fails.

The mouse cursor does not move at all, therefore the click events do not reach the button.

The button-press events are correctly generated: if the mouse is over e.g. the root window, the menus of the

windowmanager pop up.

The tests in question work well with OpenSUse 10.3 and xorg-x11-libX11-7.2-75.

The problem might be a problem with the AWT Robot underneath the Fest robot.

When trying to reproduce the problem with an old Abbot test, it shows the same behaviour.

But Abbot allows to switch the mode of the Robot to work directly on AWT-Level (inject the mouse events directly into

the AWT-EventQueue). In this AWT-mode the Tests work well.

Inizia riproducendo i test dei clic sui pulsanti e sulle celle di Table nelle versioni di X11 interessate, quindi esamina l’uso dell’AWT Robot sottostante da parte del robot FEST. Confronta il comportamento con la modalità diretta AWT-EventQueue di Abbot. Il lavoro è completato quando il cursore del mouse si sposta e gli eventi di clic sui pulsanti o sulle celle di Table raggiungono i controlli di destinazione nell’ambiente interessato.
