Phone requirement on Discord

Hello,

It'd be nice if it didn't require a phone verification to post on the discord server. I don't share my phone with websites and I'd still like to be able to participate in the community. I'm sure I'm not alone with privacy concerns in a community that tends to attract engineers of all sorts.
Spam issues on discord are fairly easily solvable with the free bots you can add to your server if that's a concern.
