Description
Every implementation of ValueVector has an instance of .FieldReader, which has an overhead of 28 bytes on the heap. This can be avoided by instantiating the object only when required.

Research direction
Start by locating ValueVector and every implementation that holds a FieldReader, then inspect the related heap-footprint issue #412 for context. The work is done when the reader is created only when required and all affected ValueVector implementations remain correct.
