New user problem connecting Claude to Home Assistant via MCP

### Describe the issue

Following Claude's instructions to create a connector between Claude and my MCP server. Unfortunately,, earlier today just in the middle of one of my first connection attempts, our Internet access went down for a few hours. Afterwards, I tried to connect again, and it initially connected, then gave me this message:

Your account was authorized, but no MCP server was found at the provided URL, or your account doesn’t have access to it. Check the server URL or your access, then try again. If this persists, share this reference with support: “ofid_07474225855690cd”

I verified that my MCP integration with entity Assist existed on my HA, then verified my URL again. refreshed and tried again. This time I received the message:

Authorization with the MCP server failed. You can check your credentials and permissions. If this persists, share this reference with support: “ofid_05faa1ec5c4e5fd3”

At this point, since Claude told me that this was a common issue pending resolution, I decided to quit and submit this report.

I've redacted the subdomain from my MCP URL for security reasons.

So, here's a summary of the errors I encountered:

Before internet outage
ofid_38f11f30507eee72 — the "no MCP server found" error (before I'd set the Client ID)

After internet outage
ofid_07474225855690cd — the "no MCP server found" error again, right after an internet outage
ofid_05faa1ec5c4e5fd3 — the final "Authorization with the MCP server failed" error (this is the one to lead with)

### Expected behavior

I expected to get a successful connection between Claude and the MCP integration on my HA instance.

### Additional context

The Auth0 page gave me headaches. I first accepted the suggested choices, but didn't know what to enter for my Auth. That failure required me to delete the connection and re-start - however, just HOW to delete the one connection I'm allowed on the Claude Free Tier was not at all clear. It took me a long time to finally find it in the error popup.
