Feature Request: CLI flag to ignore certain files and directories

Been using periscope for years, and have not found a program better at finding and removing duplicate files. Which in part, is why I was shocked to find there was no command line flag that would allow me to ignore certain files and directories when searching for duplicates. I am no expert when it comes to programming go, but adding such a feature should not be difficult to implement.
