MAC vendor quit working a while back

Worked fine for years. Then during one of the updates I lost the mac vendor lookup. I poked around, did not see what was causing it.

Today I went into the firewall, "allow an app though window firewall" and gave permission to the local network. I have no idea why this app lost permission a while back. Maybe a prompt came up under another window and timed out.

This splendid app is working like I expected once again. I'm mentioning it because my googling didn't point me to my firewall being the problem.
