partially visible content of port selection window frame

If the list for port selection (in Tools -> Preferences -> Ports) is longer than the fixed window frame, then its content becomes only partially visible and the cursor does not refocus the text on its current position and may become hidden to the right while typing and editing blindly / in "blind" mode. Here is an example for my desired list of ports to be scanned that has become "too long to be seen":
