HDV has specific properties distinct from DV - mpeg2 video, mpeg-1 audio, mpeg-ts transport stream, etc
It would be wonderful if VRecord could suport extraction of HDV, maintaining these specific characteristics, to enable archivists to use a single tool to tackle both DV and HDV.
