up- and downswiping in firefox on windows 8.1 touch devices needs 2 or more fingers

I tried the swipe up, down, left and right gestures on two different win 8.1 devices with firefox 35.0.1 with your demo-page. Instead of moving through the sections, only the content gets selected.

When you use 2 or more fingers up- and downswipe work as "expected". Left- and rightswipe do not work at all.

This jquery-mobile demo seems to work as intended - with one finger (i was curious if firefox in general has problems with one-finger gestures).
