@tarsius As you've noticed, the `solarized-emacs` repo has had a lot of experimental code merged recently, including several breaking changes. For some reason, two of its most active maintainers at the moment seem unwilling to develop their changes in a branch and merge them to `master` when they're mature. I've asked the repo owner, bbatsov, to intervene, but he hasn't responded to my comments, and then they marked my comments as off-topic and spam.

While I'm not eager to maintain a theme package, due to the direction that package seems to be taking, I've forked the repo and reset it to before all those breaking changes. I don't like seeing Magit faces and macro signatures getting broken like that for no reason, and the changes not immediately reverted when reported. I'm considering renaming all the symbols, tidying up the documentation, and publishing it to MELPA as a fork intending to be stable and compatible going forward.

I wouldn't ask you to take responsibility for *maintaining* the theme package, but if you are interested, I would gladly make you a collaborator on this repo so you could make changes directly when necessary, and I'd consult you before making major changes that might affect Magit.
