More descriptive error msgs for JSON unmarshaling

At this moment, when some script returns invalid output, user gets error messages like `error unmarshaling script output: json: cannot unmarshal number into Go value of type string`, which are not very helpful in locating the actual source of the problem. Therefore, we should add some more descriptive/precise info to them.
