W styczniu 2024 wprowadzimy zmiany w wystawianiu ofert w kategorii **Smartfony i telefony komórkowe**.

**Co zmienimy?**

Podkategorie zastąpimy parametrami **“Marka”** oraz **“Model”**, dzięki czemu sprzedający szybciej odnajdą kategorię, do której pasuje ich asortyment i skrócą tym samym czas wystawiania oferty.

Przykład:

Obecnie, przed zmianą, przykładowy produkt IPhone 12 sprzedający wystawia w kategorii
Elektronika – Telefony i Akcesoria – Smartfony i telefony komórkowe – Apple – **iPhone 12**.

Po zmianie ofertę wystawi w kategorii

Elektronika – Telefony i Akcesoria – **Smartfony i telefony komórkowe**

a dodatkowe, niezbędne informacje, uzupełni w parametrach:
* **“Marka”** (w tym przypadku, wybierając wartość “Apple”),
* **“Model”** ( “iPhone 12”).

Dla kupującego widok się nie zmieni, nadal ofertę zobaczy w kategorii

Elektronika – Telefony i Akcesoria – Smartfony i telefony komórkowe – Apple – iPhone 12.

**Jak zmiana wpłynie na istniejące oferty?**

W aktywnych ofertach, które sprzedający wystawiają w określonych kategoriach, automatycznie dodamy i uzupełnimy nowe parametry obowiązkowe, czyli “Markę” i “Model”. Jeśli nie uda nam się automatycznie uzupełnić parametrów, wyświetlimy ofertę kupującym w bardziej ogólnej, pasującej kategorii. Dotyczy to też ofert, które sprzedający wystawiają obecnie w kategorii “Inne modele” lub “Inne marki”.

Przykład:

Oferta sprzedającego znajduje się w kategorii Elektronika – Telefony i Akcesoria – Smartfony i telefony komórkowe – Apple – Inne modele. Po zmianie wyświetlimy ją w kategorii Elektronika – Telefony i Akcesoria – Smartfony i telefony komórkowe – Apple.

In January 2024, we will introduce changes in listing offers in the **Smartphones and Cell Phones category**.

**What will we change?**

Subcategories will be replaced with **“Brand”** and **“Model”** parameters, making it easier for sellers to find the category that best suits their assortment, thus shortening the time when listing an offer.

Sample:

Currently, before the change, sample product iPhone 12 seller list in the following category:

Electronics — Phones and Accessories — Smartphones and Cell Phones — Apple — **iPhone 12**

After the change, the offer will be listed in:

Electronics — Phones and Accessories — **Smartphones and Cell Phones**

and additional, necessary information, should be completed in the parameters:
* **“Brand”** (in this example, choosing “Apple”),
* **“Model”** ( “iPhone 12”).

The view will remain the same for buyers, the offer will still be displayed in the category:

Electronics — Phones and Accessories — Smartphones and Cell Phones — Apple — **iPhone 12**

We have already implemented the change in the category arrangement in Smartphones and Cell Phones in the [Sandbox test environment](https://developer.allegro.pl/tutorials/basic-information-VL6YelvVKTn#test-environment).

**How will the change affect existing offers?**

In active offers that sellers list in specific categories, we will automatically add and complete new required parameters: "Brand" and "Model". If we are unable to complete the parameters automatically, we will display the offer to buyers in a more general, matching category. This also applies to offers that sellers are currently listed in the "Other models" or "Other brands" category.

Sample:

Sellers’s offer is listed in the Electronics — Phones and Accessories — Smartphones and Cell Phones - Apple - Other models category. After the change, we will display it in Electronics — Phones and Accessories — Smartphones and Cell Phones - Apple.
