Description

I'm looking for a module to format HTML in interactive examples on the React docs website. I was hoping to use `diffable-html` but it looks like it runs only in Node. Would it be feasible to remove the dependency on Node APIs? If not, do you know of any other module that can take an HTML string without any whitespace or line-breaks and format it for people to inspect?

Research direction

No source file or test is named in the issue. Start by checking which Node APIs diffable-html uses and whether its formatter can run in the browser; done means the package formats compact HTML in the React docs environment, or the issue identifies a suitable browser-compatible alternative.
