Checksum update not mentioned

For a TCP segment or UDP segment and IP packet, the checksum is verified at every hop or intermediate device. The destination might changed by an intermediate device if there is any change in path and the TTL field is modified by the intermediate device hence the checksum is updated or recalculated. TTL being updated is mentioned in the answer but since the TTL is being updated the checksum should be updated as well.
