Descrição
1.The DNS turns the human-readable URL "www.google.com" into the corresponding IP address
2.Once the IP address is obtained, the browser initiates a TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) connection to the server hosting the website. Hence a reliable data transmission between the client and the server
3. The request encounters any firewalls present in the network path, They ensure that only authorized requests pass through while protecting against malicious activities.
4. If the website uses HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure), a secure communication protocol is established between your browser and the server. This is done through SSL/TLS (Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security) encryption
5. In high-traffic scenarios, websites often employ load-balancers. They ensure that the request is directed to an available web server capable of handling it.
6. The load-balancer forwards the request to one of the web servers hosting the website. it receives the request and processes it and then retrieves the requested resources, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and images, from its file system.
7. In some cases, the web server may pass the request to an application server. The application server executes dynamic code, such as server-side scripting or application logic, and generates the appropriate response based on the request.
8. If the request requires data from a database, the application server interacts with the database server to retrieve the necessary information.
