Pressing incorrect keys when selecting the AWS region breaks all input

**Describe the bug**
If a naive user (🙂) assumes they can use vim keys (or anything other than arrow keys & enter) to navigate the AWS region list, it breaks all input until the tool is restarted.

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. start the tool
2. press anything other than arrow keys or enter at the "select AWS region" prompt
3. try to use arrow keys to navigate the list

**Expected behavior**
The list should be navigable with the arrow keys even if they user pressed the wrong keys initially
