# Overview
When importing a multi-part 3D object (most 3D objects) into studious engine, you have the ability to automatically generate a bounding box collider around it. When generating a 3D collision box around an object, studious will tightly wrap a single box around all objects collectively. To allow for more precise collision calculations, add support for multi-object collision box generations. This should decouple the objects and use each one independently to generate a collision box. This should result in many more collision objects around a single 3D game object. This is necessary for generating reasonable collision boxes automatically for maps.
## Nitty Gritty
A 3D model in a wavefront file (.obj) contains multiple sub-objects that each have their own vertex points, texture coordinates, normal coordinates, materials, etc. Each object is defined in the .obj file like so:
```
o Cube
...
o Sphere
...
o Monkey
...
```
Rather than generating a single collision box for the Cube/Sphere/Monkey collective 3D "scene", studious would generate a collider box for Cube/Sphere/Monkey independently, but tag them with the same collision data.
