No simple way for developers to add in new ingredients

The ingredients list is currently designed to force the user to choose from a set list, but from the development side, there is also the issue were any new ingredient put in has to be manually entered into the json file. A function/prototype for the developer to enter new ingredients will probably be needed when ingredient lists get large.
