Special ground units of alien race

i think that all of us that had played the original game, remember the
interference vehicle of Garthogs, the artillery unit of Sulleps (i don´t
remember if Escalep also had it), the autorepair tank of Dribs and Darglans (in
Darglans sure, not completely sure that Dribs had it), behemonth for humans
races...

but, this tanks and vehicles couldn´t be development and built by all race...
i´ll like to could research them and built them, although the cost and the
research center needed will be enormous:

for example: 10 civil engineering, 9 AI, 11 computer, 12 military for the
autorepair tank

what do you opined??
