Improve test/routers/generic/test_router_post

"A lot of very similar tests from a matrix of (user x platform x platform identifier x expected behavior). That's fine for this PR, but those are great candidates to try combine into a parametrized test (at least, I think. It's possible this becomes messy too). Something worth considering in the future."
