# Outcome
Exclude Lymantria dispar (Spongy Moth) and Popillia japonica (Japanese Beetle) from alerting and visible reporting in Ontario (ON), Quebec (QC), New Brunswick (NB), Prince Edward Island (PE), and Nova Scotia (NS).
# Acceptance criteria
- These taxa are not surfaced in alerts or visible reporting within the listed provinces.
- Filtering behavior is configuration-driven to allow future additions without code changes.
- Basic logging/metrics indicate filtered counts for observability.
