## Context

It is recommended to allow editing of the essential parameters of the default agent.
For example, recently added settings such as email and model routing.
At present, the default agent cannot be edited in the frontend at all unless the source code is modified or files are edited directly.
Even if editing can be achieved by modifying configuration files, there is no way to view the changes visually.
This may prevent some individual users who have not created new agents from being able to use certain new features

Start by locating where the default agent is defined and where agent settings are edited in the UI, then compare that flow to how custom agents are edited. Next, trace the backend/config persistence path for agent updates to verify whether default-agent values are intentionally read-only. A practical first step is to run the app and reproduce the locked default-agent behavior in the frontend. Done when core default-agent fields (for example email or model routing) can be changed and visually reviewed in the UI without source edits.
