Getting an error on some rpc calls

In the UI I see this error

Some of the rpc calls on the contract work.

It is a vanilla splitter contract. It can call payee, shares, totalShares but cannot call releasable. They are all view calls. Pretty strange. I haven't been able to guess the difference.
