Descrição
## #RF-BLOG-05 — Building Decentralized Identity Infrastructure in Rust
**Type:** Child Story / Blog Post
**Parent:** Epic #515 (#RF-BLOG-01)
**Status:** Optional / stretch (pitch if a fourth slot opens)
**Project:** Cross-project (mediator + wallet)
### Hook / one-liner
adorsys, a Rust Foundation Silver Member, is building the server-side brain of Self-Sovereign Identity in Rust — from a DIDComm v2 mediator to a multi-tenant, eIDAS/EUDI-aligned cloud wallet. This post connects the dots and explains why Rust is the right language for identity-critical infrastructure.
### Why this post
The member-story flagship. Weaker than the engineering posts (more marketing-toned), so keep as the optional stretch behind #RF-BLOG-02/03/04.
### Content hints
- Why Rust for SSI backends: memory safety without GC pauses, `zeroize`/`subtle`, `axum`+`tokio` for always-on high-concurrency endpoints.
- Mediator solves "how agents talk"; wallet solves "how users hold/present credentials."
- Crate/workspace modularity enables a decentralized fleet.
- Close with SSI vision + adorsys investing as an RF Silver Member.
### Acceptance criteria
- [ ] ~800–1200 words, original
- [ ] Links the two projects into one coherent story
- [ ] Author bio + links included
- [ ] Not overtly promotional (community-first framing)
_Part of epic #515 (#RF-BLOG-01)._

Direção de pesquisa
No files or tests are listed, so start by reading the parent epic #515 and sibling issues (#RF-BLOG-01/02/03/04) to learn the expected tone and structure. Then locate the repo location used for blog/story posts and existing narrative style. Draft the 800-1200 word article with all acceptance checks (coherent mediator-wallet story, links, author bio, community-first framing) and post the draft path or link in this issue.
