描述

**UPDATE:** Sans v2.005 has not fixed this issue because unfortunately this was posted too late into the development cycle when the update was so close to being released, so this issue will remain open.

----

I found a small issue with the design of the bottom 攵 component despite the fact that it technically is Taiwan MOE compliant. I checked the related characters 變 and 條, and the 攵 component has the last throw stroke touching. I am currently unable to find official documents that state that the last throw stroke of 攵 must not touch the top left strokes.

If the documents require this, adjustments to 變 and 條 would be needed. However, I do not believe this is needed, and it would make the design a bit uglier IMO. Serif has the stroke touching, and some MOE-compliant fonts like Hiragino Sans CNS/TC has the stroke touching.

Therefore within my limited knowledge, please consider adjusting the following TW glyphs so that the last throw stroke of 攵 can touch the top left strokes. Preferably following the design and proportions of the uni5910-CN and the uni74CAuE0101-JP glyph.

Unicode | Character | Notes
-- | -- | --
U+77CE | 矎 | Consider restoring the v1 JP glyph for JP, KR and CN locale if there is space, referencing #313. Also applies to Serif.
U+8B82 | 讂 |
U+89FC | 觼 |
U+74CA | 瓊 | Remove TW glyph and use the uni74CAuE0101-JP glyph for TW and HK instead. Also applies to Serif.
U+85D1 | 藑 |

Also regarding the wrong HK mapping of U+74CA 瓊, I reference #288 (which may have covered what I planned to report, so this issue may be a duplicate), but I noticed that it’s not marked “fixed for next version” for a long while. I hope this design issue (along with the mapping) can be sorted out.
