Description
I spent several days compiling this issue and I found out a widespread issue within the 酋 component where the L stroke pokes out, either outside the box or within the box. For this page, it is mostly about the 尊 component.
Some glyphs also have bezier quality issues on that L stroke, but I feel this could be a lower priority issue, as static versions might not show the issue for some glyphs, but please consider optimising the quality of the stroke regardless.
### 尊 (uni5C0AuE0101-JP (CID 62234) and uni5C0AuE0102-JP (CID 62235))
Left: uni5C0AuE0101-JP; Right: uni5C0AuE0102-JP
uni5C0AuE0101-JP (CID 62234)
uni5C0AuE0102-JP (CID 62235)
The L stroke pokes out from within the box of both glyphs in ExtraLight.
It does not affect static versions but please fix it regardless.
_Also, the L stroke shape’s Bezier quality is very good and similar glyphs with this component should follow it as a reference._
### 僔 (uni50D4-JP, uni50D4-CN and uni50D4-TW)
Left: uni50D4-JP; Middle: uni50D4-CN; Right: uni50D4-TW
uni50D4-JP, ExtraLight
uni50D4-CN, ExtraLight
uni50D4-TW, ExtraLight
uni50D4-TW, Heavy
The L stroke pokes out outside the box for both uni50D4-JP and uni50D4-CN in ExtraLight. Furthermore, the CN glyph has a minor problem with the width of the inner and outer stroke as circled, as the stems are not equal.
The L stroke pokes out from within the box in the uni50D4-TW glyph for both ExtraLight and Heavy.
### 竴 (uni7AF4-JP and uni7AF4-CN)
Left: uni7AF4-JP; Right: uni7AF4-CN
uni7AF4-JP, ExtraLight
Also of note is a minor design issue with 寸 in ExtraLight for JP where it does not connect fully.
uni7AF4-JP, Heavy
uni7AF4-CN, ExtraLight
Also of note is a minor design issue with 酋 in the CN glyph where the horizontal stroke does not connect fully with the box.
uni7AF4-CN, Heavy
### 噂 (uni5642-JP, uni5642-JP90-JP (CID 61910) and uni5642-TW)
There is a Bezier quality issue with the L stroke for all affected glyphs.
Left: uni5642-JP; Middle: uni5642-JP90-JP (used for CN locale); Right: uni5642-TW
uni5642-JP, ExtraLight
uni5642-JP90-JP, ExtraLight
uni5642-JP90-JP, Heavy
The uni5642-JP90-JP glyph has the L stroke poking out within the box in Heavy.
uni5642-TW, ExtraLight
Aside from the stroke quality issue, the TW glyph in ExtraLight has a minor problem with the width of the inner and outer stroke as circled, as the stems are not equal.
### 譐 (uni8B50-CN)
The L stroke is poking out within the box. Also it has a Bezier stroke quality issue.
### 撙 (uni6499-CN and uni6499-TW)
Left: uni6499-CN; Right: uni6499-TW
uni6499-CN, ExtraLight
uni6499-TW, ExtraLight
Both glyphs have a minor problem with the alignment of the widths of the inner and outer strokes as circled, as the stems are not equal. Also note the Bezier quality issues.
### 蹲 (uni8E72-JP, uni8E72-CN and uni8E72-TW, low priority)
Left: uni8E72-JP; Middle: uni8E72-CN; Right: uni8E72-TW
uni8E72-JP, ExtraLight
uni8E72-CN, ExtraLight
uni8E72-TW, ExtraLight
This is technically fine, just that there are minor bezier stroke quality issues. Low priority.
### 鐏 (uni940F-JP, uni940F-CN and uni940F-TW)
Left: uni940F-JP; Middle: uni940F-CN; Right: uni940F-TW
uni940F-JP, ExtraLight
The JP glyph has some minor issues with the L stroke as the inner and outer strokes do not align, and the end of the L stroke also pokes out within the box, as circled in ExtraLight.
uni940F-JP, Heavy
As for heavy, I wonder if this is an issue. I understand there is some optical design considerations to give some whitespace between the stems, but it seems that the left side of L stroke is not aligned as circled. Ignore if this isn’t an issue.
uni940F-CN, ExtraLight
uni940F-CN, Heavy
uni940F-TW, ExtraLight
uni940F-TW, Heavy
The L stroke pokes out from within the box in the uni940F-CN and uni940F-TW glyphs in Heavy. There are also Bezier stroke quality issues (as circled in orange in the ExtraLight masters of the CN and TW glyphs).
### 𨱔 (u28C54-CN)
The L stroke pokes out slightly within the box in Heavy. Also there's the Bezier stroke quality issue.
### 澊 (uni6F8A-CN and uni6F8A-HK)
Left: uni6F8A-CN; Right: uni6F8A-HK
uni6F8A-CN, ExtraLight
uni6F8A-HK, ExtraLight
The CN and HK glyphs in ExtraLight have a minor problem with the alignment of the widths of the inner and outer strokes as circled, as the stems are not equal. Also note the Bezier quality issues.
Also, the CN glyph has the L stroke poking outside the box while the HK glyph has the L stroke poking out within the box.
### 燇 (uni71C7-TW)
uni71C7-CN, ExtraLight (only for the stroke quality issue)
uni71C7-TW, ExtraLight
The TW glyph is inconsistent in the way 寸 is not connected to 酋. Please fix it.
Other than that, there are minor Bezier quality issues with the L stroke for both the uni71C7-CN glyph and the uni71C7-TW glyph.
### 樽 (uni6A3D-JP, uni6A3D-JP90-JP (CID 61949) and uni6A3D-TW)
Left: uni6A3D-JP; Middle: uni6A3D-JP90-JP (used for CN locale); Right: uni6A3D-TW
uni6A3D-JP, Heavy
The L stroke pokes out within the box in Heavy.
uni6A3D-JP90-JP, ExtraLight
The uni6A3D-JP90-JP glyph is inconsistent in the way 寸 is not connected to 酋 in ExtraLight. Please fix it.
uni6A3D-JP90-JP, Heavy
The L stroke pokes out within the box in Heavy. Also, as with uni940F-JP (鐏), I wonder if this misalignment of the inner and outer strokes is an issue or is it due to optical design considerations. Ignore if this isn’t an issue and at the very least just fix the L stroke poking out.
uni6A3D-TW, ExtraLight
uni6A3D-TW has a minor problem with the width of the inner and outer stroke as circled, as the stems are not equal. It also has a minor Bezier stroke quality issue.
### 繜 (uni7E5C-CN)
The L stroke pokes out within the box in Heavy. Also note the Bezier stroke quality issue (also affects uni7E5C-TW but I won’t show it here).
### 墫 (uni58AB-JP and uni58ABuE0101-JP (CID 62199))
Left: uni58AB-JP; Right: uni58ABuE0101-JP
uni58AB-JP, ExtraLight
uni58ABuE0101-JP, ExtraLight
There are no problems with the L stroke, but there’s a very minor design issue with 寸 in ExtraLight where it is not properly connected to the box.
### 嶟 (uni5D9F-JP, uni5D9F-CN and uni5D9F-TW)
Left: uni5D9F-JP; Middle: uni5D9F-CN; Right: uni5D9F-TW

uni9C52-JP
uni9C52-JP90-JP
uni9C52-TW
There are no inherent problems with these glyphs, just only minor bezier quality issues with the L stroke. Low priority.
### 鳟 (uni9CDF-CN)
There is a kink on Heavy as circled. I suppose it is due to the Bezier stroke quality issue.
### 鷷 (uni9DF7-CN and uni9DF7-TW)
Left: uni9DF7-CN; Right: uni9DF7-TW
uni9DF7-CN, ExtraLight
The L stroke pokes out from within the box in the uni9DF7-CN glyph in ExtraLight.

Unfortunately I am unable to thoroughly check every other characters with the 酉 and 酋 components, but I believe that they need to be looked at as they have similar aligning problems.
Below is some of the characters I have yet to check:
`酋偤媨揂𪍑趥䠓㥢湭煪㷕楢𣜃緧崷鞧禉遒輶𬨎猶猷蝤蟗蠤鰌䲡㻥`
I did [partially report on the 酉 component previously](#441), so this issue is related.
