Unit Tests Support

First off thanks for this awesome boilerplate. I see you have a couple integration tests in there which is great, but could you add unit test support and a couple of tests for the existing modules. I think ideally I would add them in the module's directory themselves, maybe under "unit" or "specs". I'd love to see your approach to this.
