cannot connect on edge at all

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try connecting on edge
2. handshake will be established
3. first frame will start downloading
4. I have to abort connection
5. my pc is set to lock the workstation upon logout, 30 seconds or so
after i abort the vnc connection attempt the workstation locks..not locks up
6. 3g & wifi are fast enough to fully establish the connection

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Is there anyway around downloading the entire first frame????? I love
using vnc but when i need it the most is when i am not by wifi and 3g is
iffy in my travels

Start by reproducing the connection on EDGE with version 090307 and compare it with 3G and Wi-Fi, focusing on the handshake and first-frame download described in the report. Determine whether the failure is caused by the initial frame transfer or by aborting the connection; done should mean that an EDGE connection completes without the reported workstation lock behavior.
