The issue only says users want a better local cursor using the pointer protocol instead of, or in addition to, the dot. Start by finding where the Android viewer currently renders the local cursor/dot and where VNC protocol messages are handled. Done means the viewer can show the actual local cursor behavior described, but the old, inactive issue gives no tests or file names.
