VNC Connection Failed

Android 1.6

Please provide any additional information below.
It fails to connect to some machines but connects properly to others. I
have checked the addresses, ports and passwords repeatedly and they always
work from my WinXP Pro desktop. This can be worked around by first
connecting to a server that has no problem and then connecting to the
desired server. It is as if a switch is set and not reset until an
alternate connection is made.

Start by reproducing the failure on Android 1.6 against both RealVNC and TightVNC servers, comparing machines that connect with those that do not; verify the reported workaround of connecting to another server first. Done means identifying and correcting the connection state that prevents the affected servers from connecting.
