Interesting plugin. I have an idea how to improve this plug-in. IMO it could be nice to make tracks to vias automatically. To do this it's needed automatic sign new vias or make new windows to type by user names of vias.
I want to help with develop, but don't have any idea about kicad plug-ins dev

No file or test is identified. Start by inspecting the KiCad action-plugin entry point and the existing via-pattern placement flow; first clarify whether the goal is automatic trace-to-via placement, user-entered via names, or both, then define completion criteria with the maintainer.
