XQuery or XML Query is functional programming language that queries collections of structured and unstructured data, in particular, XML. I'm new to learning it, so unfortunately I cannot really contribute much just yet. The latest stable release is [3.1](https://www.w3.org/TR/xquery-31/), from 2017.
