Description

There are major changes in the latest (1.2) specification (released in 2009) of YAML

https://yaml.org/spec/1.2.2/ext/changes/#changes-in-version-12-revision-120-2009-07-21

there isn't any warning about these in the Where X=yaml page, and the old revision is being used for things such as yes/no boolean evaluation, octal values, and some types not being relevant anymore

Research direction

Open the YAML page identified by the [yaml/en] title and compare its descriptions with the linked YAML 1.2.2 specification changes. Check the sections covering yes/no booleans, octal values, and obsolete types; done means the page warns about the newer specification and no longer presents outdated behavior as current.
