pagination is not intuitive

Look at the screenshot attached. there are only 2 pages which explains why the 3 is shaded out and why the farthest right button is a 2, but this isnt intuitive.

This issue is about the pagination controls shown in the screenshot, so first run the app and open the same page view to reproduce the two-page state. Search the frontend code for the pagination component and the logic that builds page button labels / disables controls. Compare it against the expected behavior for a 2-page dataset and adjust that rendering logic or styles. Finish when the far-right button and disabled state make sense given the available page count.
