Geographic diversity in paper submissions

"Would [it] be possible to report the distribution of papers by country or continent of affiliation of the first author. By continent I mean seven regions: Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia. Although you may wanna split Asia for a finer analysis."

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. First identify how paper submissions and first-author affiliations are represented and where project reports are generated; the work is done when the report shows country or seven-continent distributions, with any Asia subdivision explicitly defined.
