Ingestion pipeline should not allow email addresses as names

The issue names only the ingestion pipeline and the name field; start by locating the ingestion entry point and its validation or normalization logic, then reproduce the behavior with an email address as a name. Done should mean email addresses are rejected as names and a regression test covers the case, but the issue provides no file or test names to guide the search.
