vulnerability id searching very slow on public instance when using free text

When I put some free text in the field "Search for vulnerabilities" and then click "Search" it can take a long time. For example, when I search for "philippe" (because why not?) it takes around 20 seconds (package search is very fast, apparently there are no packages indexed that are called "philippe").

Of course this search field isn't meant for searching free text (it does seem to work though, as I get a few results), so it might be wise to add a few extra checks to confirm that the search term used is a potential identifier that can be searched or do something because people (like me!) will use the system like this.
