Filter the Resource based on values in columns

I would like to be able to navigate and review a subset of all the Resources in the resource list view.
Ideally there could be either of these ways (or multiple of them):
- a search box below each column title to search in this column
- a list of possible values as a drop down (and could be combined with search)
- a way to create more sophisticated filters like in Excel/LibreOffice based on equals, not equal, contains, starts with, etc.
