Should ScanCode be more explicit about ignoring symlinks/special files?

説明
Currently, ScanCode does not create Resources for symlinks and special files (FIFO, device files, etc.), however we do not tell this to the user at any point when the program is running.
Should ScanCode provide a message about skipped special files? Also, should ScanCode fail loudly if someone tries to run scancode on a special file?
