We have two main manifests of interest:
- a portfile: CMake file with macros we could parse https://github.com/microsoft/vcpkg/blob/f008d24c67b722ddd87adb09aa8b5c0531c83d6e/ports/abseil/portfile.cmake and https://vcpkg.readthedocs.io/en/latest/maintainers/portfile-functions/
- a control file: a Debian-like CONTROL file https://github.com/microsoft/vcpkg/blob/f008d24c67b722ddd87adb09aa8b5c0531c83d6e/ports/libgeotiff/CONTROL and https://vcpkg.readthedocs.io/en/latest/maintainers/control-files/
There is also a lock file (vcpkg-lock.json) https://github.com/search?q=path%3Avcpkg-lock.json&type=code
Some research is needed on all these.
