SEGFAULT building native gem extensions in v0.5.5

### Description

When trying to `bundle install` gems in our Gemfile that need to build some native extensions, we are getting `SEGFAULTS` when compiling. This is only happening on 0.5.5, downgrading to 0.5.4 resolves the problem, but there are features in 0.5.5 that we want to take advantage of. We believe that the issue has to do with the alpine version change

The issue is a SEGFAULT when building native Ruby gem extensions in Colima v0.5.5, suspected due to an Alpine version change. Examine the changes between v0.5.4 and v0.5.5, particularly around the base image or jemalloc configuration. Look at the build logs for the ffi gem compilation. Reproduce the error in a Colima environment, then check the runtime or memory allocator interactions. 'Done' is when the segfault no longer occurs during gem native extension builds.
