# Wall of Text
Hey there 👋🏻,

so I'm working on replacing docker desktop with something else and I came to the idea to use docker with colima. So I installed colima, had no docker, I installed docker, had no `docker-credential-helpers` to login to my registries, I installed docker-credential-helpers, had no docker-compose installed and so on.

Since brew installs just docker/cli (which runs under the apache-2 license) I would recommend to install it as a dependency in the brew formular or at least create a new colima-docker all in one installation application or something to improve that trial and error research. Otherwise this is hard to roll out and maintain in a company with lots of computers, who have the use case to actually switch to colima

# Possible Story:

As a growing company operation department, I want to switch from expensive docker desktop to a free alternative. Even Colima brings already a possibility to use a docker runtime, it does not roll out with a working docker cli so you have to install it your self afterwards by trial and error. It would be much easier to have at least a brew packages that comes with everything installed (as a dependency), so you don't have a lot of maintenance work.

ACs:
- [ ] it is possible to install docker dependencies either via brew, colima command, or gets bundled as a subcommand in colima (e.x. `colima docker run hello-world`)
