Allow Tablr editing on remote project folders?

I can open local .csv files and get prompted to do so as text or CSV as expected, but in my remote project folder (where I really want to be able to edit CSVs most of the time) it only opens as a text file and I can't seem to find a way to invoke the Tablr plugin.
